A Great Weekend for Canadian Ski Jumpers!

Our Alberta athletes had a strong showing in the USA. Congratulations to the girls for taking the top four positions – Natasha (1st), Abi (2nd), Nicole (3rd) and Eleora (4th). Ollie and Joey also put pressure on the USA athletes with strong 4th and 5th place finishes respectively.

Elsewhere in the world……. here is how the Canadians did:

Sweden: National athletes Taylor and Jasmine had a great weekend at a COC. Taylor was 1st and 2nd and Jasmine was 6th and 8th. Great job ladies.

Japan: National athlete Trevor Morrice had a 19th place finish in his 3rd event on the weekend, up from finishing 50 & 52 in the previous two (tough competitors and weather).

Slovenia: Tough competition at the FIS cup for National athlete, Josh (39th both days) and Alberta athlete Nigel (63rd & 51st).
