First Winter Youth Olympic Games, Innsbruck, Austria

On behalf of Ski Jump Canada (SJC) and Nordic Combined Ski Canada (NCSC), we are pleased to host the 2012 Aviva North American Junior Championships.

Results

The Fall Banquet for the ski jumping and Nordic combined community will take place at the Edgemont community hall in NW Calgary.


Frozen Pipes marks the last summer ski jumping competition of 2010 at COP, and will include the K18, K38, K63 & K89 Jump Hills.  Running will make up the cross country portion for all but the K89 Nordic combined event.  It, along with Ski Jumping K89, will be the only National Title events held in conjunction with Frozen Pipes.  The cross country skating portion of K89 Nordic Combined will occur later (TBA) on snow when trail conditions allow, at the Canmore Nordic Centre. 


Judges clinic will take place at the ski jump meeting room of the training centre on Friday evening, October 15.   Judges will be able to ‘shadow’ judges at the competition the following day.  Mark Servold, FIS Ski Jumping and Nordic Combined Official is conducting. 

Alberta Ski Jumping and Nordic Combined is bringing a contingent of athletes to the Springer Tournee in Park City, Utah, July 27-August 1, 2010.

The Altius Ski Club will be having it’s Annual AGM followed by a competition on June 19, 2010.
